Nandi is a washed coffee from Kenya's Nandi County, offering a balanced and expressive cup. Expect ripe stone fruit, bright grapefruit acidity and a smooth, honey sweetness.

Founded by Fred Langat and Sidney Kibet, Lot 20 Coffee focuses on organising farmers across southwestern Kenya, enabling them to process and sell their own coffee without reliance on middlemen or the auction system. 

Sidney recently came to visit The Granary to have a look around and share some coffee, which really meant a lot to us. Building relationships like this is a big part of how we source coffee.

Nandi County

Lot 20 Coffee works directly with farmers in southwestern Kenya to help them grow, process and export exceptional coffee. They also provide financial literacy training, quality seedlings, and ongoing agronomic support.

Stone Fruit & Sweet Honey

Nandi is a balanced and expressive cup. Expect ripe stone fruit, bright grapefruit and a smooth, honey sweetness.

Washed

After being carefully harvested by hand, the coffee cherries are sorted and de-pulped, then washed and laid out to dry in the sun. They are turned regularly to ensure slow, even drying. Washed coffees like this one are known for producing a cleaner, more complex cup.
