Hailing from Los Cielitos, Nicaragua, this Caturra varietal has spent a few weeks hibernating in an old Bourbon barrel.
Originally a peachy, brown sugar-like coffee, Los Ceilitos has matured into something altogether different. Expect notes of heady vanilla, sticky-sweet dried fruits and of course, big boozy notes.
This coffee's journey doesn't end here. Under the masterful hands of Donzoko Brewing Company, this barrel-aged coffee will be turned into a spectacular beer. You can find out more about the collaboration here. Check out the beer when it's released!
